A marine biologist, traveling the other day through the territory of the private Sabi Sand reserve in South Africa, became an eyewitness to the confrontation between two predators.
The toothy inhabitant of the reservoir decided to join the meal arranged by the lion on the carcass of the buffalo.
But the land predator demonstrated its formidable disposition and, having attacked a competitor several times, tried to drag its prey away.
According to the author of the video, in the end, the king of animals resigned himself to the presence of the "freeloader" and stopped paying attention to him, after which both hungry predatory animals shared the meal for two.
