Zimmer Golden Spirit - luxury or excess? (7 photos)
Zimmer Golden Spirit was originally built for Texas doctor and was apparently used to transport the President George Bush at the 2003 Texas Auto Show.
So what exactly is Golden Spirit? As you might guess from the strange silhouette, he began his life as Lincoln Town Car 2002.
The Zimmer company was originally engaged in the production of strange retro barges from its founding in 1980 until bankruptcy in 1988.
Incredibly, in 1996 a man named Art Zimmer (not having nothing to do with company founder Paul Zimmer) bought rights to the company and continued the work he had begun, creating strange sedans in style from the 1920s and 30s until 2020.
This particular vehicle was imported into the UK in 2009 year and, apparently, traveled only 46,670 km in his life. He equipped with a standard Lincoln 4.6-liter V8 that transmits its power (initially about 200 hp) to the rear wheels via four-speed automatic transmission.
Lots of dark gray leather with Zimmer logos embroidered on the interior on the seats. There are also wooden inserts, as well as satellite navigation Kenwood and Alpine DVD players for rear seat passengers. All in style zero.
The look is hard to put into words, so we'll let the photos do all the descriptive work.
Внешний вид трудно передать словами, поэтому мы позволим фотографиям всю описательную работу взять на себя.
