In the US, two teenagers tried to steal a car, but saved in front of a manual transmission

A couple of teenagers decided to wring Subaru, but something went wrong.

At one of the gas stations in Maryland, two young blockheads got into a curious story. The teenagers waited for the car to drive up to the gas station, forcibly threw the driver out of the Subaru WRX and took away his keys. However, they were unable to steal the car. Ignorance of the "mechanics" prevented the grandiose plans of teenagers.

The unfortunate hijackers had to run away on their own two feet. And then the police arrived. As a result, guys 16 and 17 years old were detained by law enforcement officers. They were charged with car theft by prior conspiracy.
