Polish architect Jakub Szczesny claims to have built the most narrowest house in the world. This building is only 2.5 meters wide at its widest place. It is called "The House of Keret". Such a design can quickly gain popularity due to the rapid rise in housing prices.
Passing by, you will not notice anything unusual here.
"Keret House" squeezed into the gap between two buildings in the center Warsaw. It will become a temporary home for traveling writers.
The author of the project, Polish architect Jakub Szczesny, once thought about what kind of house could be built in this space.
“You need a sense of humor, otherwise you can’t stay in such a place for a long time,” he says.
The body of the house is raised on piles, and the stairs go vertically from the ground
At its narrowest point, the house has a width of no more than 2.5 meters.
“It has already become an iconic place in Warsaw and is marked on the tourist map,” the architect boasts.
“Everything was made to order, and everything needed to be insert with force,” said Szczesny, explaining how he managed to place in house all the necessary furniture
Two people cannot pass on the stairs of the house
The designers tried to squeeze everything they could out of the small space of the house - and they succeeded
