Excavator hijacking of ATM in Sicily caught on video

In the homeland of the mafia, everything is stable. Not far from the Sicilian port city of Catania, in order to steal an ATM, the robbers did not bother with a cunning plan. They chose the most impudent but effective way - they drove an excavator with a van to the bank branch, pulled out the coveted ATM with a bucket, loaded it into a car and hit the road. It took them just over two minutes to complete. At the same time, a large number of passers-by on the street did not bother them at all.

The incident took place on the evening of March 14. In hot pursuit, the raiders could not be detained. The police found out that both the excavator and the van, into which the ATM was so ruthlessly stuffed, were stolen. The criminals left the excavator in place, and the car was found on the side of the road a few kilometers from the bank branch. History, unfortunately, is silent about how much money was inside the ATM and whether this game was worth the candle.
