A blind stray cat was picked up on the street in a sad condition. Both of her eyes were so damaged that they had to be removed. TO Luckily, this sweet creature fell into the kindest hands..





British resident, photographer under the nickname turniptowers shared this touching story on social media. Three years ago they wife lost a family pet - unfortunately, their cat got under the wheels car. Some time later, the photographer's wife, Lisa, stumbled upon page of a local shelter for a special cat.



A blind stray cat was picked up on the streets of Wrexham. She was lucky to get to the shelter, in the good hands of caring employees. Unfortunately, the eyes of the cat were in such a sad condition that both eyes had to be removed. After learning the history of the cat, the wife photographer decided to take her into the family and show what a real Love.



The cat was named Gertrude, and began to live with new owners. It wasn't easy at first:

"The first year Gertrude spent most of her time in the bedroom, where she was most comfortable, and did not go out much. We took care of her and did everything carefully, avoiding loud noises so that she would not be frightened. Now Gertrude is already walking around the house, but sometimes she bumps into objects - especially when he's nervous," said the owner of the cat.



One of Gertrude's favorite activities is to lie next to the owners and rub your muzzle against them. So she calms down faster. She also likes to walk outside and play with different toys - the owners often take her for walks on a leash, during which the cat loves everything explore and sniff.



"Surprisingly, the noise during her walk is not at all worries - even if dogs bark or someone uses noisy tools. Gertrude also likes to listen to different sounds in our garden, and hunt for bugs. If I were asked to give advice for those who have an animal with similar features, the main advice is have a lot of patience," said the owner.
