Punakawan Animal Sanctuary in Argentina adopts a blind woman Cougar named Estanislao. The kid was blind as a child, when he got hit by a combine harvester with his brother. Witnesses of the incident saw the cougar mother take one of the babies, but the second didn't come back. The chances of a cub surviving on its own in the wild not left, but fortunately, he fell into good hands just in time. The owner of the reserve named Kai Pacha saved the baby and took it under her guardianship.

"Estanislao's central nervous system was irreversibly damaged. He needs lifelong support and he can't survive alone in nature. That is why our main goal has been provide him with a comfortable life," wrote the guardian of the cougar.



First, the cub went outside the reserve, and when he recovered and grew up - was transported to the reserve itself. He is there met other animals, and especially became friends with a dog the owner of the reserve, Mojo. All this time between guardian and cougar there was a strong connection. Despite the blindness, now handsome Estanislao lives a busy life, happy and surrounded by love.
