Under such conditions, six to eight cylinders under the hood would be more than enough, but every now and then you need to do something crazy, that will grab the attention of the public. Something similar happened in 1994, when the revolutionary Dodge Ram saw the light of day.
After years of studying Ford and Chevrolet, Chrysler has unveiled the second generation of its pickup truck. 
What made Ram famous is that in many ways he really looked like a smaller truck. How popular was this model, perhaps best of all confirms the first year of sales. 
The predecessor attracted only 95,542 buyers in 1993, and the new model reached the figure of 410 thousand units in two years, which put her to number three on the bestseller list. Ram was offered with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, with the Magnum V10 at the center attention. 
Work on it began in the late 80s and was originally supposed to that it will be installed on the famous Dodge Viper, but subsequently engineers have developed for the athlete a special engine of the same volume. 
The Magnum V10 was part of the Ram lineup from 1994 to 2003, developing power 310 hp and maximum torque of 610 Nm at work volume of 8 liters. For comparison, in the same period, Ford offered an outdated 7.5-liter gasoline engine and only 245 “horses”. 
In essence, the Dodge Magnum V10 engine was several years ahead of the competition in its day.

In addition to the above ten-cylinder engine, it also has a four-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This is the 2500 configuration, which means it has a stiffer chassis than the base 1500.
