Chevrolet Corvette 1959, unlike any other, which you have seen before is going to auction. Restomod built and configured by Hot Rod Service in the United States.
The photos show a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette restomod of the year, which was built by specialists from the American workshop Hot Rod service company. Well, in January twenty-third it will be put up for auction Barrett-Jackson auction house.
The appearance of the classic model remained standard, but the interior has been seriously improved. So, in the cabin there was a new front panel with revised tidy configuration and center console from fiberglass.
From the equipment, the car has an engine start button, Vintage Air climate control, paddle shifters, stereo system Alpine, Momo steering wheel and more.
As for the technical features of the project, it is unique in its kind of restomod received an expanded and stretched chassis, which at the same time was supplemented with new body supports and cross struts.
At the rear, the tuners installed a Currie Truetrac bridge, which has a mount on four levers. Plus, air suspension is involved in the design of the chassis. AccuAir, which allows you to lower the car body almost to the ground (shown in the photo).
The modification was equipped with a brake system from Wilwood with six-piston calipers and perforated discs "in a circle". And she also received new stainless steel fuel tank.
The car is powered by a 7.0-liter Chevrolet LS7 engine, and seriously improved. In particular, it was equipped with an inlet Kinsler manifold and new camshaft.
Unfortunately, the performance of this motor is not disclosed, but it works in conjunction with a Chevrolet 6L90E six-speed automatic. Per how much such a car can be sold - time will tell.
