Due to spilled fuel in New Moscow, cars burned down in the parking lot
After a diesel fuel tank caught fire in a parking lot in New Moscow, six cars burned down. Burning diesel fuel began to pour into the rainwater drain and another fire started.
In Rasskazovka in New Moscow, a fire broke out in the parking lot. The fuel tank caught fire. Fuel spilled out of the sewer and another fire started.
Eyewitnesses spoke about the first minutes of the fire.
“At about 08:50, I saw a fire through the window, it was burning in two places at once: a change house at a construction site, the fire from which spread to cars parked in a fenced paid parking lot, and a river near house number 3 on Boris Pasternak Street. Black smoke also came from the sewer grates between these two locations, ”an eyewitness told Lenta.ru.
The fire destroyed six vehicles. In the capital's head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, they said that open burning was eliminated.
“The total area of the fire was 300 square meters. There were no reports of casualties."
The published footage shows that the cars, engulfed in flames, managed to burn to the ground. It remains to be seen who caused the fire.
