Semi-car, semi-motorcycle: three-wheeled Subaru from the 1970s (4 photos)
The Subaru 360 was a Japanese micro car that did not have great success in the US in the 1970s. And about the same time Honda motorcycle business began to develop in the States. One enthusiast decided to combine them into one vehicle.
Once upon a time there was a man, and he had an old Subaru 360 without a motor and Honda motorcycle without front fork. And he also had a Bulgarian, semi-automatic, a file and some free time.
Why not put it all together, the craftsman thought, and set to work. It turned out what you see in the photo. Pretty funny trike, though its purpose is unclear.
Subaru 360, by the way, is already a rather rare car and surviving they are valuable, so I guess customization happened a very long time ago, at a time when it was only an old and useless car.
