Last weekend in Donetsk, for two days, visitors to Amstor supermarkets had the opportunity to taste a unique delicacy - lard in chocolate. The technology of the event, developed by the Good Thought agency on behalf of the Successful Events Agency, was thought out in such a way that slices of the freshest lard were dipped into a stream of chocolate circulating in a special cascade installation - the Chocolate Fountain. Despite the rather specific and exotic combinations of the products being tasted, the event aroused the highest interest among Donetsk residents and guests of the city. In just two days of tasting, about 42 kg of lard were covered in chocolate. Among the five varieties of “Ukrainian national product” offered to the participants of the campaign - traditional salted, marinated with slit, baked with pepper, smoked and brisket, smoked lard in chocolate was especially popular, the total consumption of which was more than 15 kg. According to the organizers’ calculations, which were carried out using disposable skewers and forks, 3,523 people took direct part in the tasting! It is interesting to note that 100% of the participants tried this delicacy for the first time in their lives and most of them noted the sophistication of the combination of these seemingly incompatible products. According to many participants in this unusual tasting, the special taste of the lard was provided by high-quality Belgian chocolate, which was specially developed for chocolate Fountains.
