Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see ordinary vehicles with roof tarpaulins or other modifications to make their suitable campsite. But all this has nothing to do with this the classic Toppola camper, which essentially adds a mini house to the roof of the Saab 900.





At one time for the Saab 900 it was possible officially (from the factory) order a residential superstructure. It was called "Toppola Camper" and could be installed on both two- and four-door versions of the Swedish model.



Inside there was a place for a large bed (under the roof), a kitchen with sink and stove, as well as numerous niches and drawers for storage of things.





The module itself has lighting. Moreover, it is equipped several windows, so that it should be light and cozy inside. And also here you can stand to your full height, although there is still room for maneuver a little.



At one time, to install this add-on, developers had to remake the stern of the Saab 900. Well, the other day someone put up a Toppola Camper 1980 model for sale on eBay.



Note that we are talking exclusively about the add-in itself, and not about car. The seller asked for 12,500 euros for the camper, although in parallel an online auction was also launched. However, the excitement around residential the add-on did not work - it went under the hammer for €8,600.
