Just a white bear came to look at the nuclear icebreaker
In the Yenisei Bay of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a polar bear came to look at the Russian nuclear-powered icebreaker Vaigach.
Presumably, the beast went to the icebreaker because it smelled food. The recording shows how the predator comes close to the vessel, then moves a little further and stands on its hind legs, sniffing and stretching its muzzle. The bear walks from side to side and tries to rise higher on its paws in order to see what is happening on the deck.
“Despite the abundance of seals in the Yenisei Bay, the polar bear again came for the Vaigach nuclear icebreaker. This time the meeting took place near Sibiryakov Island. The bear is very attracted to the smell of the galley. The best compliment to the chef of the nuclear icebreaker from the owner of the Arctic. But feeding the animals is forbidden!” - wrote the captain of the ship Andrei Tenitsky, who captured the bear.
