A swan gets into a car. England, 1936,
A domestic swan named "Leila" gets into a car and goes to the store with her owner. "Leila" is Mrs. Watson's pet from Chesham, Buckinghamshire. According to the owner, such an unusual pet guarded the yard well, no worse than a dog, and the swan also learned to open the doors in the house.
Apparently, the owner nursed the swan as a child and it became obedient, because in nature this bird is very aggressive.
The Tacoma Suspension Bridge in Washington that collapsed in November 1940.
The bridge was originally built with gross errors. In strong winds, the road surface moved in waves. On November 7, 1940, at 11:00 local time, a strong squall destroyed the central part of the bridge. K with part of it there were no casualties.
