Unusual shots. The pilot filmed how a tornado spun his glider right in the sky
The footage, captured by 30-year pilot David Evans, does look a little creepy. The fact is that the man came across an extremely dangerous obstacle - he saw the beginnings of a tornado, which, trying to keep up with the hawks, he could not fly past. And his plane began to “spin” right in the sky. According to the pilot, the funnel began to lift him 100-200 feet per minute. By the way, the weather conditions were not conducive to the formation of a tornado at all - even meteorologists could not explain where it came from.
“At first I noticed hawks circling on the air currents. I decided to follow them and soon found a funnel forming nearby that was lifting me 100 or 200 feet per minute. I had never seen anything like it!” explained David.
