Arriving at work on the morning of August 13, employees of an animal shelter in Douglas County, Nevada (USA), found a carrier on the porch. Animal rights activists have already realized that this can only mean one thing: someone gave them an unfortunate animal, this has happened more than once.

The carrier contained an extremely shaggy creature. The workers thought it was a dog.

But they were wrong

Shelter employee Liz Beregovich says the animal barely fit into the carrier. When they pulled him out and saw his muzzle, everyone was very surprised. After all, it was a cat!

The veterinarians gave the cat an injection of sleeping pills, after which they cut off this entire nightmare, namely about 2 kg of wool.

If the cat couldn't move, someone was obviously feeding it. But why did this someone neglect the unfortunate animal like this and why did he decide to get rid of it? Who was the person who threw the carrier: the cat’s owner, his acquaintance, or just a kind person? All this remains a mystery for now.
