The happy story of two kittens rescued from deadly frosts (12 photos)
These cute babies were discovered on the roof of an old barn in the cold winter in Montreal, and they probably would have died there if not for the responsiveness of people.
A kind-hearted woman heard a plaintive meow and came to the aid of the animals, not even suspecting that two brothers were dying in the cold. At first she saved one kitten, but the meowing did not stop there. It turned out that there was not just one fluffy tail on the roof, but two. Getting the second animal was much more difficult, but the woman coped with this task.
The animals were warmed, fed and placed in a local shelter called Chatons Orphelins Montréal. Now they have a chance for a better life and loving owners.
The kittens were named Mozart and Chopin in honor of the great musicians. After providing the necessary medical care, the kittens were placed in foster care with Val, who has been helping the shelter for a long time, taking in rescued puppies for a while until they are adopted by a loving family. The woman helped the kids get used to life in the house and literally tamed them, with the help of her own already quite adult cat.
Almost immediately it became clear that there was a very strong brotherly bond between these kittens. Val said that the kids have different personalities, but they literally complement each other and enjoy doing everything together - sleeping, eating and playing. These kittens are simply inseparable!
The kittens spent almost three weeks in Val's foster care, and just recently they finally found a permanent family. Now they have found their long-awaited home, where they went, of course, together. They simply could not be separated, so they gave the kittens into the same hands so as not to break their feline hearts.
Mozart and Chopin were inseparable throughout their short lives, and their connection was so strong that the curators of the animal protection organization agreed to give them only as a couple to the same house. Now the animals have an ideal family, and the shelter can continue its good work and start rescuing other kittens.
