A sheep named Marley from the UK behaves like a dog, making life difficult for its owners. Marley doesn't eat grass and prefers a dog bed by the fireplace outside. This is because he became very close friends with the Labrador Jess, from whom he adopted all the habits.

Alison and Adam Vaughan from the UK and their two children have always lived in their home, where they had ducks and several dogs. It is not known whether they were as close friends as Max the husky and Quakers the duck, but in September the family moved to a new bigger house and decided to get themselves a new pet - a sheep

It all started when Alison saw an ad from a local farmer who was looking for a home for an orphaned lamb. The girl and her husband decided that this was just what they needed, especially since they had an overgrown garden next to their house. The lamb will eat the grass, and there will be no need to mow it. But the lamb had other plans.

When Adam and Alison brought their new pet home, he was a small, curly-haired bundle that looked more like a poodle than a sheep-to-be. But less than two weeks had passed before Marley (as the lamb was named) contracted an infection and his joints became inflamed.

Marley was very seriously ill: it took him 15 minutes just to get up. So Alison, to keep the lamb cozy, arranged a place for him on a dog bed, which she placed next to the fireplace. There was also a place for the family's dog, Jess the Labrador. She also took pity on the lamb and immediately began to look after her new neighbor.

The two became so friendly that Marley began to adopt habits and habits from Jess.

"Marley and Jess became very close and did everything together. As Marley began to recover, he really enjoyed going on walks with Jess."

When he was completely strong, the family decided that it was time for him to move to a barn outside, as a sheep should, but that was not the case. Marley liked to lie near the fireplace with his friend Jess and even eat from the same bowl with him, but he was not at all happy about long walks outside alone and eating grass.

When the couple managed, with great difficulty, to push the already quite large sheep out into the street, they had to make sure that Marley did not run back in: as soon as he saw the open door, he immediately tried to return to the house. This is probably why the owner sometimes leads him on a leash (and judging by Marley’s appearance, he was not happy about this).

Now Marley is six months old, and he is most likely sure that he is a dog, but Alison and Adam are not happy with this. Therefore, the family decided to train the animal to behave like a sheep. To do this, they made him a new friend - another sheep named Mishka, so that Marley would know who to follow as an example.
