This touching family story took place in the American state of Ohio. 18-year-old Makayla gave an unusual gift to the man who raised her as his own daughter from the age of four.
According to the Mashable channel, in the published video, the head of the family named Stephen Dabney tries to unwrap his gift, but each time he comes across a new “box within a box.” As a result, in the last box Stephen finds an envelope with the inscription “do not open without command.” Afterwards, the stepdaughter thanks him for the fact that 14 years ago Stephen accepted her as his own child, despite many difficulties: “Of course, there were black streaks. But I love you more than anything in the world, now you can open it. Since I'm an adult now and can make my own decisions, I thought maybe you could adopt me?" When the stepfather opens the envelope, he sees a package of adoption documents. The man’s sincere reaction touched many YouTube channel users.
