While still a kitten, Roo ended up in an animal shelter, where she met her future owner, Marnie Russ. The woman specialized in caring for animals with special needs and took Roo into her home. The kitten was born without elbow joints in its forelimbs, but very quickly learned to move only with the help of its hind legs. Marnie fell in love with the kitten so much that she left him to live with her and now he has grown into a beautiful cat that has become a full-fledged member of the family.
