A man woke up in the morning and saw that his entire house was full of holes with acorns in them (7 photos)
Everyone loves sudden surprises, only of course if they are good, and not the ones that the hero of our article discovered in his house. One morning, a man came out of the house and couldn’t believe his eyes; the windows and doors were all full of holes inside of which lay acorns.
It was as if a gang of hooligans were shooting at a house for fun, but in that case their weapons would have to be loaded with acorns, and this could only be done by mutant wild boars, which, of course, do not exist. Read on to learn about the hooligans who did this.
This is what the acorn woodpecker, also known as the ant melanerpes and ant woodpecker, looks like, hiding acorns in the holes it makes.
These holes were made by an acorn woodpecker, which chose this house as its acorn storage.
The entire back of the man's house was full of holes like these, looking like gunshot marks.
Apparently, a flock of acorn woodpeckers tried to break through the synthetic siding, thinking that it was wood, and realizing that holes in it were extremely easy, they decided not to gouge hard wood, but to gouge the man’s siding and make a warehouse for acorns in it.
But now the acorn woodpeckers will fight off this house from other birds, protecting their reserves.
We hope this neighborhood will be safe for the owner.
