A seal tried to steal a diver's camera and ended up with these amazing photos (9 photos)
A minor incident happened to diver photographer Caroline Robertson-Brown at the end of a working trip to the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland.
Caroline, 44, led a group of underwater photographers with her husband Nick Robertson-Brown, 64.
They traveled to the Farne Islands to document the gray seal population.
Caroline said that as she began to swim towards the surface, a seal pup approached her, snatched the camera and tried to escape with her.
“Underwater photography equipment costs a lot of money, and I couldn’t just let a sea creature win this game. But the random shooting turned out to be amazing.”
During the “battle” for the camera, Caroline managed to take several live photographs of the curious puppy.
According to her, swimming with wild animals is a rare and excellent opportunity that should not be missed.
"Seals are very curious creatures. They like to swim up to divers and watch what they are doing. They may pull you by the fins or throw you up, but they are harmless and like to pose for the camera."
