There is probably no friend in the world more loyal and faithful than a beloved pet. For example, the Brazilian Wagner Figueredo de Lima had his horse Sereno as such a companion for decades. This continued until the man died tragically in a car accident.
Wagner’s brother Vando knew how much Sereno meant in the life of the deceased, so he decided to bring the horse to the funeral. During the burial, the incredible happened: the horse began to make strange sounds, as if crying for the deceased.
“Sereno seemed to understand what was happening and wanted to say goodbye to Wagner,” says the brother of the deceased. One of the eyewitnesses of the incident says that the animal approached the coffin, sniffed it, then the horse raised its head and neighed loudly and sadly.
“It was clear that he was overcome by feelings. Everyone who attended the funeral was touched to the core. “I couldn’t even hold back my tears,” says one of the eyewitnesses of the incident.
All the way to the cemetery, Sereno beat his hooves hard on the ground and cried. Then he bowed his head over his master's final resting place, bidding him farewell forever.

Vando vowed that from now on he would look after the animal and take care of it in memory of his deceased brother. “Sereno was everything to him,” the grieving brother told reporters in tears. In my opinion, this is a shining example of true friendship, which even death cannot interrupt!
