Huddled into a ball, she waited for the verdict.

My decision to save the dog’s life by taking it not from a shelter, but from a “killing place” (temporary shelter - 5 days to live, and then an injection...) was dictated by pure emotions. I saw on the FB page a post from a burial place in Pinsk, in Belarus, a photo of a doomed little dog, no longer expecting anything from its short life.

I went to my husband, asked and away we go..!

We live in the USA, and the dog is in Pinsk. But, thanks to the Pinsk volunteer, Oksana, everything worked out, and 2 weeks later we met the dog at Kennedy Airport in New York with the whole family - mom (me), dad (husband) and brother Stanley (our first dog).

Actually, we were expecting a girl)) - Shushunya, but the boy Sashka arrived! In the turmoil of paperwork, no one looked under the tail)). In general, that’s it - everyday life began to socialize a 7-month-old street dog.

Needless to say, absolutely everyone is happy with the ending of the story? Shushunya-Sashka, who is overwhelmed with gratitude to the people who gave him life, became the favorite of this wonderful family. And just look at this handsome guy today!))
