This is what happened in this case. In one of the zoos, a tigress went into labor. While one of the zoo workers watched and monitored the process, she gave birth to one tiger cub. The entire team of veterinarians was immensely happy about his birth, but a couple of minutes later a surprise awaited them... Someone meowed faintly once, then twice. The staff were afraid that they would have to intervene or the second baby would die.

The zoo workers prepared for the worst and were ready to act at any second, but they still wanted to give mom a chance to cope with this disaster herself. Fortunately, everything turned out well, although this little guy made me worry a lot about myself! The second tiger cub also showed signs of life, thereby expressing its readiness to be born...

For reference: Pregnancy lasts 3.5 months, usually a tigress has 2-4 cubs in one litter, rarely one, even less often - up to seven. It would seem that the offspring is not such a bad one. But it must be taken into account that a tigress usually gives birth to cubs once every three years.
