The dog has been sitting in the basement all his life and now he can’t get enough of life (7 photos)
Meet Bibi, a poodle from the kennel. The dog spent his entire life in a tiny cage in the basement. Last September, a North Carolina kennel was raided by the Humane Society of the United States. The animals were taken away, but the rescuers' special attention was drawn to Bibi, who was kept locked in a cage and used only as a breeder of new puppies.
“She was so small and scared, she looked incredibly helpless.”
The poodle was taken to a veterinary clinic, where he won the heart of Brenda, who worked at the reception. “She sat in the corner all the time, scared to death. I couldn’t help but take her home.”
However, when the woman brought Bibi home, the dog was confused by the huge space, because she was used to living in a tiny cage.
“She had never seen the sun, didn’t know what grass looked like, and was even scared at first.” But over time, Bibi got used to it and now runs happily around the house and plays.
