Sleight of hand and no fraud: a resident of Cologne modified the bottle machine that was in his store.

He equipped the device with a magnetic sensor and a kind of wooden tunnel, which prevented the machine from shredding plastic bottles, which, in turn, made it possible to hand over the same container multiple times, each time receiving a certain amount from the device.

So the enterprising German worked according to the scheme: “44 thousand euros = 177 thousand times to place a bottle in the machine + press the button.”

Having received a few cents, he took out an undamaged container and repeated the operation again. But the company that installed such machines did not notice the clever deception and, with the pedantry characteristic of the Germans, paid the scammer the money.

However, the cunning man's easy income was stopped by an anonymous call to the police.
