“The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed” is one of my favorite childhood films. It was filmed in two cities: Odessa and Moscow. All location shooting took place in the capital, and the scenery took place in Odessa. It's been 28 years since the film was released, and a lot has changed. 2-story houses from the film - stood exactly on the site of a modern high-rise complex (and it seems like after their demolition there was a market here)

Soon after the film was released, these small houses were demolished. A little later, the 4-story neighboring house was demolished, on the facade of which the trace of its 2-story brother is visible. And behind the 4-story building, surrounded by a fence, you can see...

How to find: from Yauzskaya Street - go to the FIRST ARCH ON THE RIGHT of the yellow house along Serebryannichesky Lane. Now everything has changed there, and this place is almost unrecognizable. But old-timers claim that until recently even the entrance to that same basement was intact and had exactly the same appearance as in the film...
