The Soviet magazine "Crocodile" was the only satirical magazine in the USSR that was allowed to draw caricatures of events within the country and the official policies of its leadership. Thanks to “Crocodile”, the values and achievements of Soviet society were promoted, capitalism was ridiculed and various elements of society were condemned (alcoholics, hacks, “hipsters” and others).
