Anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy (17 photos)

23 November 2010

In 1963, all of America was shocked by the assassination of John F. Kennedy, who was shot on November 22 in Dallas while the presidential motorcade was passing through the streets of the city. Today is the 47th anniversary of this day and we want to look back to remember the events before and after the death of the 35th President of the United States of America.

Long-lost television news footage of President Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy holding hands as they boarded the limousine of the presidential motorcade as it was scheduled to make its way through the streets of Dallas on November 22, 1963. The 45-minute silent, black-and-white film was subsequently submitted to court as one of the pieces of evidence in solving the case.
