For many, their childhood and youth were spent in the Soviet Union. And they remember those days with joy. Let's feel nostalgic about childhood. Delicious cakes from those times!
In our microdistrict, at the same time I went to school, a new Almaz cafe was opened, and they sold a lot of cakes, white Bizet, two halves held together with jam - my favorite.
I found this photo, “Almaz,” and was moved to tears, so my grandmother took me as a little girl to preparatory courses at school, and on the way back we stopped at this cafe, maybe in the photo - that’s me, small and happy.
Then a new department store was built and a cafeteria was also opened in it, with a juice cooler that mixed the juice in a glass tank, it was so light and smelled of pastries that were baked in the culinary department of the same complex. There were different cakes, but I remember these ones more than others.
