Six-Wheeled Econoline from Mexico (3 photos)

This Ford Econoline Club Wagon was spotted in Mexico. It features an added second front axle alongside custom bodywork: the wheel arches for both front sets are executed so cleanly, it looks as though the van left the factory as a six-wheeler.





It’s built on a first-generation Econoline, but the front end has already been modified—rectangular headlights replace the factory round units. According to the original poster, the lights were sourced from a 1977 Ford LTD.
