Five police officers suffered various injuries outside the apartment of a man they raided. However, it never even came to an actual arrest.
Operation "Complete Failure"
On the afternoon of July 21, police officers and bailiffs raided the apartment of a 26-year-old convicted sex offender in Huntsville, Missouri, but no arrest was made. And not just because the man was not home.
Nine law enforcement officers crashed to the ground; five of them suffered fractures and concussions.
"No weapons were discharged during the fall, which is attributed to professional training and discipline," read a joint statement from the Randolph County Sheriff and representatives of the Marshals Service.
