Crimea in winter (95 photos)
The weather in Crimea in winter is unpredictable. It snows, it rains, and then suddenly the sun comes out from behind the clouds. Interesting photo excursion!
1) Simferopol
2) Although not by the sea, it is a typical southern city. Some beautiful architecture around the station and narrow, crooked streets around the Kebir Jami Mosque. The first day we got caught in the rain, and when we returned there two days later, we found streets covered with snow and children sledding down the hill.

4) Alushta
5) the most crowded town. We never reached the remains of the Aluston fortress, and found nothing more interesting.

11) The Chekhov House Museum was closed that day, so we didn’t get there. But we were in the Livadia Palace and saw where Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill divided post-war Europe.

14) Quite a beautiful embankment, but the view from the cable car is not at all picturesque.

77) Mangup Plateau is another place that has preserved the ruins of an old cave city. You need to go to it along a forest path from the village of Zalesnaya.

82) As in the old city in Simferopol, narrow crooked streets, mosques, Crimean Tatars, etc. In a word, the Middle East in Crimea.
83) Bakhchisaray. The Khan's Palace is quite beautiful, but much cooler is the Assumption Monastery on the outskirts of the city and the cave city of Chufut-Kale located next to it.
