A fish that is respected and untouched by predators

A small fish called a cleaner wrasse enjoys absolute immunity in the ocean. It can easily swim into the mouth of a huge moray eel or circle the teeth of a shark, and no sea monster would dare eat it.

Despite its small size, the cleaner wrasse calmly swims up to even the most dangerous ocean inhabitants. This is because it performs an important job – cleaning them of parasites and dead skin.

The predators know their little helper well and don't perceive it as prey. On the contrary, they patiently await their turn for this unusual "procedure."
