A Man Made a Durin Door with Glowing Runes
A Lord of the Rings fan showed off a voice-activated Durin's Door with illuminated Elven inscriptions. Beautiful!
The door is made of walnut, epoxy resin, and forged metal. A large LED panel is installed inside, illuminating the wood from within.
To open it, you need to say "mellon," which means "friend" in Sindarin. This is the word that opens the Doors of Durin in The Fellowship of the Ring.
