The "dog-fox" (zuvduyar): the first and only member of its kind (3 photos)
This foxdog is the first and only hybrid between a domestic dog and a Pampas fox to date. The animal's scientific name is Dogxima. She had long, pointed ears, an elongated muzzle, a bushy tail, a wiry, dark-brown coat, and was the size of a medium-sized dog.
Dogxima was discovered by chance in Brazil, although she shouldn't have existed: the evolutionary lines of her parents diverged approximately 6-7 million years ago, making such a cross virtually impossible.
She is not aggressive and gets along well with people.
