Innovations we deserve: Apple patents a high-tech pizza box (2 photos)
While Apple fans wait in vain for breakthrough gadgets from Tim Cook, Cupertino engineers have focused their genius on solving an existential crisis: soggy pizza dough during lunch breaks. At WWDC 2026, the company officially teased its own round pizza box, crafted according to all the hallmarks of Apple perfectionism: a one-piece eco-friendly shell, an advanced ventilation system for steam removal, and perfect stacking ergonomics. The funniest thing is that this culinary gadget is no joke, but an officially registered patent, developed for years by Apple's head of restaurant services, Francesco Longoni. Currently, the innovative eco-friendly packaging is available exclusively to employees at the Apple Park campus, saving their lunches from turning to mush. Obviously, if this device ever hits the commercial market, fans should be prepared for the brand's classic pricing: a thousand rubles for the pizza itself and another ten thousand for the stylish, minimalist packaging without the charger included.
