In March 2026, the first photos of the new Brabus project, named Bodo after company founder Bodo Buschmann, appeared online. Now the large coupe has been officially unveiled.
At first glance, the two-door's exterior may resemble a Mercedes-AMG GT on steroids, but in fact, the car's donor vehicle was an Aston Martin Vanquish. This is especially evident in the interior architecture, which the designers left virtually unchanged. The exterior, however, is a different matter. All the coupe's body panels are new and made of carbon fiber, and the Bodo rides on signature Monoblock Z-GT wheels with Continental SportContact 7 tires.
The multi-spoke wheels conceal new carbon-ceramic brakes, and the wheels are kept grounded by an adaptive suspension with multiple operating modes and the ability to adjust the ride height by 25 mm.
Under the hood of the Bodo is a 5.2-liter V12 with two turbochargers. While the standard Vanquish engine produces 835 horsepower, the Brabus version boosts output to 1,000 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque, the latter of which is software-limited. All power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The Bodo can reach 100 km/h in 3 seconds and a top speed of 360 km/h.
The Brabus Bodo will be limited to just 77 units. This number is no coincidence, as the studio was founded in 1977. Each unit costs over €1 million. The production run for the entire series is expected to be quite lengthy. No more than 15 cars are planned for delivery to customers annually.
