Geely and Mercedes unveiled the compact Fortwo of the future (6 photos + video)
Geely and Mercedes-Benz unveiled the new Smart Fortwo concept—and it seems the brand has finally returned to its roots. Instead of bloated crossovers and four-door experiments, the public was treated to an ultra-compact two-seater city car with the recognizable proportions of the classic Fortwo. The Mercedes-Benz design team was responsible for the exterior design, while Geely engineers developed the technical platform and electronics. The concept is already being called one of the most stylish new city cars in recent years—it looks bold, futuristic, and truly "Smart."
