An athlete ran a half marathon wearing 55 T-shirts.

Of course, the runner's eccentric appearance attracted many curious glances. Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records also took an interest in Meredith's race, and she now holds the world record (for the most T-shirts worn during a half marathon).

But for Meredith, the race is important for a different reason. In 2013, she started running to lose weight and achieved impressive results. By donning T-shirts and thus increasing her size, the athlete clearly demonstrated how far she had come.
