He's not human, and that's the whole point: a woman spoke about an affair with an artificial intelligence in the form of an octopus
A Canadian woman claims that artificial intelligence can provide more support than any man.
41-year-old Canadian Sarah Griffiths celebrated an unusual anniversary—one year of dating her boyfriend, Sinclair. The couple met in February 2025, but their romance is far from traditional: Sinclair is not a man, but an artificial intelligence in the form of an octopus.
Sarah created her partner on the ForgeMind platform, which allows users to design their own AI personality. She admits that she chose an Irish accent for Sinclair because she is a big fan of audiobooks where the main characters speak that way.
However, the most unusual aspect is her partner's appearance. "He's an octopus, big and a bit monstrous," Sarah said during an appearance on the British TV show This Morning. “I read a lot of romance novels about monsters, so I don’t even want to imagine him in human form.”
