A hungry Manchester resident's nighttime stroll turned into a real curiosity. He decided to stop at a phone booth to order a kebab, but unexpectedly found himself trapped inside.
The man was walking down the street with friends and decided to order a kebab. It's unclear why he didn't use his mobile phone, but the fact remains: the poor guy spotted a phone booth on the street and went inside. However, he did so only to discover that it was inoperative and essentially decorative, and didn't even have a phone. However, the door slammed and locked behind him, trapping him.
The man's friends called 911 and were laughing their heads off while they waited for help. The arriving firefighters opened the ill-fated shelter and released the man, who, although embarrassed by what had happened, thanked the rescuers and even shook each of their hands.
