Cat became famous thanks to the color of his eyes

A cat named San San from China has captivated internet users thanks to his eyes. The pet has a rare form of heterochromia.

This fluffy cat has an unusual form of heterochromia: his eyes have three different shades, which makes him truly mesmerizing.

Heterochromia in cats is typically complete (eyes of different colors), sectoral (multicolored sectors in one eye), or annular (a ring of a different color around the pupil). San San has areas of different colors in one of his eyes.

It's no surprise that photos and videos of him quickly spread across social media—his look is hard to forget.

Despite his unusual appearance, San San's vision is perfectly fine—congenital heterochromia generally doesn't affect the animal's health, although partial deafness is sometimes seen in white cats with blue eyes.
