At one supermarket, local shoppers noticed a cat enter the sales area and cause an unpleasant incident right on the fresh vegetables. The incident occurred in the produce section, where the animal had unimpeded access to the pepper counter.
Store management is conducting an investigation to determine how the animal entered the sales area and prevent similar incidents in the future.
