A New York resident has gained social media fame thanks to her unusual pet. 28-year-old Abby Jardine carries her pet pigeon, Pidge, everywhere, carefully tucked into a tiny purse.

Abby regularly takes Pidge on walks, rides the subway, visits friends, and even orders an Uber while carrying the pigeon in her purse. According to Abby, the bird has long since become a full-fledged member of the family and feels completely at ease in the city.

Pidge's Story

An American woman found a three-week-old chick near some trash cans near her home. The pigeon was too small to fly or forage for food on its own. Initially, Abby planned to nurse it back to health and release it, but it quickly became attached.

Over time, the bird grew, and Abby decided to take it with her everywhere. Incidentally, she found a suitable bag by chance. It was a sample from the store where she used to work. Unexpectedly, this carrying method turned out to be perfect. Pidge enjoyed watching the city and looking out the window while driving.
