One of the most beautiful rivers on Earth





If the Soča isn't the most beautiful river on the planet, it's certainly one of the most beautiful in Slovenia, where it's nicknamed the "Emerald Beauty."

The rapids of this river attract many kayaking enthusiasts. It maintains an emerald green or even bluish color throughout its 138 kilometers.

The Soča is surprisingly picturesque. Poets dedicate poems to her, and landscape photographers from all over the world come to photograph her.
