In Florida, a mother saved her four-year-old daughter who fell between a cruise ship and a pier

While the Carnival Sunrise cruise ship was docked at a private dock in Celebration Key, Bahamas, a four-year-old child accidentally fell into the water between the ship and the pier. His mother, without hesitation, jumped into the water to save her daughter.

Ship and dock staff quickly came to the rescue: they threw life preservers and lowered a ladder, after which they both safely reached the pier. Neither mother nor child were seriously injured, but the family was left in a state of great distress.
