The second flood was canceled, but the first arrest took place (2 photos + 3 videos)

In Ghana, another apocalypse ended before it even began.

Self-proclaimed prophet Ebo Noah (real name Evans Eshun) assured his flock that the Second Great Flood would begin on December 25, 2025: three years of continuous downpours, the end of the world, and so on. The Lord, he claimed, personally appeared in a dream and gave him clear instructions: build arks, save people and "other living creatures" two by two, or whatever happens.

Ebo approached the project with a vengeance: he filmed dozens of videos about the construction (supposedly 8-10 wooden boats somewhere in the bushes), called for repentance, and, of course, collected donations for nails, boards, and other divine needs. Thousands of people took the matter seriously: they quit their jobs, sold their belongings, and traveled to the "arks" from all over Ghana and even from neighboring countries. One Liberian was completely penniless, with only enough money for a one-way ticket, and even that turned out to be non-refundable.

When the skies remained dry on December 25th, just as many politicians had promised, Ebo didn't lose his cool. He went live: "I convinced God to wait! We need more arks to fit everyone." That same evening, he appeared at a concert by rapper Sarkodie. He took a break from his righteous labors, danced, and urged everyone to enjoy life. Apparently, the Lord granted not only a reprieve but also VIP tickets.

With the collected donations, the prophet managed to buy himself a brand new Mercedes. A modest car, but reliable for a landlubber. The flock first applauded, then began asking awkward questions. Finally, on December 31, Ghanaian police carefully handcuffed Eboh on suspicion of spreading false information, causing panic, and, as usual, fraud.

Now the "savior of humanity" is detailing to the investigator exactly how he bargained with the Almighty at the last minute. Incidentally, the arks were never completed. They're sitting somewhere in the bushes, awaiting the next end of the world.
